My husband’s family have a First Edition Book of Mormon that their father bought. The only thing we knew about it was where he bought it. There was faint writing on it, hard to read with the passage of time and the unique handwriting style. We yearned to know more about the history of this book but didn’t know how to find any information.
Denise Huth was able to decipher the faint writing in the book. Not only was she able to tell us so much about the editing and printing of the book, but also about the people who owned this particular edition. She was able to find who owned the book and who they passed it down to, where they lived, and many more interesting tidbits. She gleaned more information from the little she had to go on than we thought possible. Her work was presented very professionally and is now placed with the book. My family was so grateful to know more about this valuable heirloom placed in their care.
